The hotel was in close proximity to the main street and had a great transport link to the city center. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The facilities in the hotel were great, especially the well-stocked hospitality tray with a range of amenities.
There was a lot of noise throughout the night, disrupting my sleep and making it difficult to rest properly. the bedding was not clean, and the bathroom was not well maintained, which was somewhat off-putting.

The staff here was friendly, excellent location. Nothing to complain about. Food is alright. Large rooms. We had a suite, and we really enjoyed it.

The service at this place was nice and the breakfast was as expected. We also had the opportunity to visit Franco's nearby when we were in a hurry.

The location was fine giving access to Edinburgh and surrounding areas
one of the rooms was fair and had recently been painted but all the rest of rooms on the corridor were still undergoing painting with wet paint signs and the smell pervading the atmosphere and the shower had little or no pressure. The other was very small, shabby and not very clean, looked as if it hadn't been used for some time.

Very nice bar, resturant and public areas, the staff were very friendly and the hotels situation was very good.
The room was very clean as was the bathroom but the heating was poor and the room had only one very small window which was not dounble glazed.Parking at the hotel was also difficult but should be better when the road works are completed.

A very clean, tidy, big room with good facilities and fast wi-fi. Everything I needed on a short business trip to Edinburgh, just a short distance from the city bypass road.
No carpark at the Hotel, onstreet parking was OK but you have to hope there is a space nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our entire visit. The facilities were well-maintained and clean. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs, being conveniently close to the party we attended. We were also impressed with the amenities in our room, including a well-functioning TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, and an ironing board.
Nothing all excellent.

Perfect hotel for overnight stay, room basic but clean, windows not double glazed, so noise from main street of which there was a lot later on. Restaurant good, easy to find.
once inside there was nothing particularly homely and it did feel slightly old . Our room was very cold with all old furniture but nothing to make it feel more comfortable.

Great location and friendly staff at this hotel. the room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the city from the window. the hotel also offered a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which was a great way to start the day.
Our romantic escape was soured by a few negative aspects of the hotel. the bathroom was outdated and in need of renovation.

Staff never here to help you, location, price incredibly high for such a poor comfort. Definitely one of the worst hotel my girlfriend and I have never been too. And we're not this kind that complains all the time.

The staff were very friendly and the food in the restuarant was excellent both in the evening and at breakfast.
We noticed some of the room numbers were missing from the doors and had been filled in with a pen!! Not a good first impression. Our room was slightly dated with furniture from the 1980's and the shower also dated from that time. Not alot of money needed to be spent on updating this room to the 21st centuary.
